St. Lucie County Sheriffs Office
ET has obtained footage of 1970s teen heartthrob David Cassidy getting questioned by a police officer just moments before he was arrested for being suspected of driving under the influence.
In what looks to be a sobriety test, the police officer puts the flashlight into "The Partridge Family" star's face and asks if he has eye problems. David explains to the officer that he "had a wandering eye as a child."
Cassidy, of Fort Lauderdale, was pulled over on Nov. 3 by the Florida Highway Patrol after an officer noticed his white Mercedes was swerving off the road, the police report states.
According to the report, the 60-year-old told police that he'd had a glass of wine around lunch time and took a Hydrocodone around 3:30 pm. The report also states that the breath test was taken around 8:30 p.m. and Cassidy blew over the legal limit. The officer says he also found a half empty bottle of bourbon in the vehicle. The actor's rep tells ET that Cassidy was on his way back from a funeral in Gainesville.
Cassidy was released from St. Lucie County Jail after posting $350 bond.
