Miss Golden Globe Revealed!

Every year the Golden Globes chooses the daughter of an industry veteran to be Miss Golden Globe -- who did they select this year?

It is actor Joe Mantegna's beautiful daughter Gia who will take the honor. She said of the news, "I am honored to be part of this wonderful ongoing tradition created by the HFPA. I have grown up watching the Golden Globes with my family and feel so fortunate to be part of such a magical evening, so early on in my career."

Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Philip Berk commented, "We are thrilled to have Gia as this year's Miss Golden Globe. She is just as talented as she is beautiful and will surely be a great addition to the show."

Gia is an actress who got her first role at age 13, the costarring with her father in the 2003 film 'Uncle Nino.' She's since starred in on TV in "Gigantic" and appeared in the films 'Unaccompanied Minors, '13 Going on 30' and 'In the Land of Women.' Her other TV appearances include the shows "Criminal Minds" and "Medium," and "The Secret Life of the American Teenager."

Notable former Miss Golden Globes include Rumer Willis, Laura Dern, Joely Fisher and Melanie Griffith, to name a few. The Golden Globes will air on Sunday, January 16, 2011 on NBC.
