Sir Elton John & David Furnish Welcome Baby Boy

December 27, 2010Sir Elton John and David Furnish unwrapped a very special gift on Christmas Day: A brand-new baby boy!
Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John was born on Saturday in California via a surrogate, according to UsMagazine.com. The baby boy -- the first child for John and Furnish, who married in 2005 -- weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces.
"We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment," John and Furnish told UsMagazine.com. "Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents."
In an effort to protect and respect the privacy of their surrogate, John and Furnish will not be discussing any details relating to the surrogacy arrangements, according to their rep.
