The purple and gold is being poured where the red carpet is usually rolled out. Standing tall at six feet, six inches, Kobe Bryant will be getting a super-sized hand print and foot print cemented in Hollywood history outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre, according to the Associated Press.
The February 14 event will coincide with the NBA All-Star Weekend, hosted by his hometown of Los Angeles, and mark the first time an athlete is bestowed with the iconic Hollywood honor.
Kobe will be making Lakers fans proud when he joins the likes of movie-stars Marilyn Monroe, Brad Pitt, and Johnny Depp, who have already been immortalized outside the landmark theatre.
