A person who called 911 before Charlie Sheen was hospitalized last Thursday reportedly told the dispatcher the actor was "intoxicated."

The Associated Press quotes a person familiar with the emergency call as saying Sheen also complained of severe abdominal and chest pains. Copies of the 911 call could be released as early as Monday, according to a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Following his hospital visit, Sheen voluntarily checked into a rehab facility on Friday and production was halted on his hit CBS show "Two and a Half Men."

CBS said in a statement that it had no choice but to place the show on production hiatus and added: "We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision."
