Chad Ochocinco: 'Don't Get Engaged, Man!'

Chad Ochocinco still plans to marry his fiancée Evelyn Lozada, but it isn't all sunshines and roses for the newly engaged pair.
"To be honest, we bump heads. Like, the personalities," Chad told ET's Kevin Frazier at preparations for tonight's Maxim magazine party in Dallas.
Chad, who was interviewed alongside Jets player Darrelle Revis, said he's earning a lot of money these days, but tells Kevin, "The thing is, I can't even spend it, man. Don't get engaged man, don't get engaged. She done put a stop to all the spending and all the having fun and I'm on a budget every month now and it's frustrating because that wild side and that fun Chad is going away. I'm so businesslike because of that other half."
He confesses, "I haven't made wedding plans. Right now, I'm still in the stage of trying to make sure we're on the same page before we [take that step], you know?"
He says that when it comes to their relationship, "I can put my foot down but I'm trying to let her feel like she wears the pants. That's what you've got to do sometimes. You've got to reverse it."
But Chad says he's in it for the long haul, regardless. "It has to work. There ain't no going back. I done made that commitment, I done made that step, it's like when I decided to play football. I made that commitment to play the game and there would be ups and downs ... the same thing will go for her now. But it ain't no backpedaling. I don't play DB [defensive back]. I play receiver, I go forward."
How does Evelyn handle all the attention that Chad gets from the ladies? "She's very secure. She don't play. … And I'm very respectful."
