The stakes are high as "The Bachelor"'s Brad Womack crosses the country to meet the remaining bachelorettes on their home turf. Which of the women will Brad make a special connection with during his emotionally charged hometown visits?
One of the most intriguing stops on his journey is Chico, CA, home of 25-year-old funeral director Shawntel, who takes Brad on a tour of her somewhat spooky workplace. "This is our crematory," says Shawntel, while giving Brad an up-close look at where bodies are cremated.
While showing Brad more of the facilities, the reality star tells his date: "It fascinates me that you embalm people." Shawntel then asks if he would like to see some of the instruments she uses. "Yah I do -- or do I?" Shawntel goes even further: "I don't know if you want to sit on the table, then I could really show you how I embalm."
Brad admits that the whole place does "freak him out a little bit." "I've been thinking that if Shawntel and I get married, these are going to be our conversations, they're going to be centered around death. I've been asking myself all day: 'Can I handle this.'"
Brad also visits Seattle, WA, home of feisty executive assistant Chantal, 28, and tries to win the approval of her father, a former professional football player and self-made businessman. He also flies to Madawaska, Maine, where Ashley H. couldn't be more thrilled to show off her hometown and family. His final hometown date is with Emily in Charlotte, NC, where he finally gets a chance to meet Emily's daughter.
To find out who Brad will eliminate to narrow the field to three finalists, watch "The Bachelor" Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
