NBA all-star Kobe Bryant has received his hand and footprints permanently enshrined at Hollywood's historic Grauman's Chinese Theatre -- home to the world famous Walk of Fame.

Bryant is the first sports figure to have his hands and feet etched into concrete at the landmark, along with some of Hollywood's biggest stars throughout history. Talk show hosts Jimmy Kimmel and George Lopez were both on hand for Saturday's ceremony, as were his wife and two daughters.

Bryant said Friday  the possibility was never really something he thought much about. "It’s not something I’ve ever dreamed about or thought about," Bryant said. "It's a great honor. To be next to some of the people I’m going to be next to is pretty cool."
