WATCH: Sharon Stone on Her 'Mentally Ill' Stalker

On Thursday, Sharon Stone filed a restraining order against a stalker who invaded her home, that same day the actress had an interview with Piers Morgan where she released details on the event.
"He is currently in a lockdown of a psychiatric unit, so we feel safe," Stone said on "Piers Morgan Tonight." "We're so lucky to have such a terrific police unit here. They knew exactly what to do and they did a very good job."
Stone suggested that her many years in the spotlight primed her for how to efficiently handle this potentially dangerous situation, saying, "Less than scary I think we proceed with some sort of logic, and people are in place and understand what to do."
"Piers Morgan Tonight" airs weeknights on CNN.
