Chivalry lives! Michael Douglas, recovering from cancer, went on the defense in London Thursday night in protecting his Lady Catherine Zeta-Jones, and only ET has the shocking video of what went down.
The star couple was arriving back to a London hotel amid a gang of paparazzi when Catherine began shouting, "He punched me!," referring to one of the photographers in the crowd. She continued, "I want a police officer right now. He punched me!"
While Catherine stood safely inside the lobby, Michael returned to the pap pack to seek out the man Catherine accused of getting physical with her. Once in front of the lensman in question, Michael used an icy stare and some aggressive actions against the photog-in-waiting with moves that would make any leading lady proud of their knight in shining armor.
Michael and Catherine were in England to receive an honor for her film and charitable achievements. The actress was dubbed Commander of the Order of the British Empire in a Thursday ceremony.
Douglas' rep, Allen Burry, tells ET, "You saw it for yourself. Otherwise, the trip and the ceremony were fabulous and such a joy for everyone."
Michael Douglas battled back at cancer in the last year, telling ET's Mary Hart, "It's been a pretty wild six-month ride."
