Update: Several unmarked police cars have left the compound with some uniformed officers in the vehicles. Charlie Sheen tweeted Thursday night, "All good here on home front. All reports are false. I'll explain more very soon."
The LAPD told ET cops are still there searching for weapons, firearms, and ammunition. As part of the restraining order, Sheen cannot be in possession of these things. It came to the attention of police the he was in possession of such items. Police are still searching the premises. The LAPD will update ET once the search is complete.
An ET producer is at the entrance to Sheen's gated community and witnessed five black and white LAPD squad cars entering. Charlie was spotted in his backyard shaking hands with cops.
Charlie's family attorney Mark Gross told ET, "LAPD is here for alleged violation of the restraining order."
Sources tell Entertainment Tonight that LAPD went to Charlie's house to remove guns from his house as part of a settlement with ex-wife Brooke Mueller. Sources tell ET that Brooke believed that Charlie holds a license for as many as 47 guns.
Entertainment Tonight has learned that the Los Angeles Police Department arrived at Charlie Sheen's house shortly after 8 p.m. on Thursday.
