ET is on the scene for New York's Bridal Fashion week, and we caught up with top fashion designers about the latest wedding trends.

Fashion designer Carolina Herrera tells us that her new bridal collection is inspired by the women of today. She adds, “Every single dress needs to have an important detail.”

“Very feminine, earthy and effortless," dress designer Amsale Aberra explains of her bridal collection. Her vision for bride-to-be Jessica Simpson's wedding dress is something sexy, not traditional. She thinks Natalie Portman will wear something effortless and elegant.

Celebrity brides who have worn Amsale gowns on their big day include Bethenny Frankel, Lisa Loeb and Julie Berman.

Legends by Romona Keveza is a collection inspired by Kate Middleton. Keveza describes the line as classic and timeless. She suggests Jessica Simpson wear a blush-colored dress with an asymmetrical neckline. She recommends bride-to-be Vanessa Minnillo wear a dress that enhances who she is, suggesting she wear a "Cinderella" type dress.
