Lindsay Lohan Sentenced To Jail For Probation Violation

A judge has sentenced Lindsay Lohan to jail for a probation violation after hearing evidence against her in regards to her theft case. Her bail was set at $75,000.

Lohan was back in court today for a preliminary hearing regarding her theft case involving an allegedly stolen necklace from Kamofie & Co., a Venice, CA jewelry store.

Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Holley originally argued to have the case against Lindsay dismissed but Judge Stephanie Sautner turned that motion down. Holley then argued to have the case against Lohan dropped down from a felony charge to a misdemeanor. That motion was granted.

This will be Lohan's fourth time in jail. According to her booking sheet, Lohan's projected release date is her 25th birthday, July 2.
