Jane Lynch, who plays one of the standout characters on "Glee" has been openly gay and in fact met her wife at a gala for the National Center for Lesbian Rights. Lynch married Dr. Lara Embry, a clinical psychologist in Massachusetts in 2010. The couple continues to be active in the LGBT community.
