Clay Aiken, was "American Idol"'s runner-up in the show's 2nd season and went on to have an extremely successful music career. There was speculation regarding his sexuality for years and after he announced the birth of his son, Aiken followed in the footsteps of Lance Bass and Neil Patrick Harris with revealing that he was gay to People magazine in September 2008. The singer now has been a more vocal advocate and traveled to Washington, D.C. to discuss anti-gay bullying in 2010.
