David Duchovny and his wife Tea Leoni have decided to take some time off in their relationship, for a second time in recent years.

David's rep confirmed to ET that the Hollywood couple have separated.

The couple wed in 1997 and has two children together: Madelaine West, 12, and Kyd Miller, 9.

In 2008, the couple separated and David voluntarily checked himself into rehab for sex addiction, but they later reunited.
