Hines Ward DUI Arrest Report Goes Public

New details have emerged as "Dancing with the Stars" champ Hines Ward's arrest report has been released by police after he was charged with driving under the influence in Georgia over the weekend.

According to the report, Ward was followed by DeKalb County police when they observed his erratic driving and was pulled over outside of Atlanta's city limits. Ward was apparently unable to pass a field sobriety test and refused to provide a breath sample after telling police he had a couple of beers at a bar in Buckhead. As for his vehicle, Ward's car was released to his passenger on his request.

Since the incident, the NFL star has expressed remorse with a statement delivered by his agent Andrew Ree. "From our preliminary investigation we can tell you that we are confident that the facts will show that Hines was NOT impaired by alcohol while driving," Ree said in a statement. "However, Hines is deeply saddened by this incident and apologizes to his fans and the Steelers organization for this distraction."
