Watch: Justin Bieber Begs Drivers to Text Responsibly

By

Justin Bieber wants to keep your streets safe.

The Biebs admits he understands that "it's tempting to text and drive" but in his new PSA in cooperation with PhoneGuard and the Remember Alex Brown Foundation, the teen sensation implores drivers to refrain from texting behind the wheel.

Johnny Mac and Jeanne Brown started the Remember Alex Brown Foundation in memory of their daughter Alex. As a teenager, Alex died as a result of texting while driving, and Justin wants to keep any other families from experiencing that loss.

"If you know you'll be tempted, you can use PhoneGuard," Justin offered. PhoneGuard is a phone application that detects when your car is moving and blocks text messages while driving.

Justin is even giving away an autographed tour jacket that can be won by registering for the PhoneGuard Drive Safe application on your smartphone. Go to PhoneGuard.com to learn more.
