New Trailer: Andrew Garfield is 'The Amazing Spider-Man'

The teaser trailer for one of the most anticipated blockbusters of next summer has just been released. 'The Amazing Spider-Man' starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as his love interest Gwen Stacy has hit the web, creating even more buzz for the 3D superhero reboot.

Directed by Marc Webb ('500 Days of Summer') the reboot looks to be a darker take on Spidey's early life as opposed to the Tobey Maguire-helmed films, showing Parker's lonely high school social status and a somber scene with his parents who died when he was just a boy.

But the star of the trailer is undoubtedly the long point-of-view shot, where the viewer actually gets to see through Spider-Man's eyes as he runs, scales walls and swings through New York City's towering skyscapers.

Sony Pictures' 'The Amazing Spider-Man' is set to hit theaters July 3rd, 2012.
