Sharon Osbourne Taking A Break From 'The Talk'

Funny, bright, and always adorable Sharon Osbourne has easily established herself as one of television's most lovable personalities. Therefore, fans of CBS's "The Talk" have been dealt an unpleasant shock, as Osbourne confirms she will be taking a break from the daytime talk show when it returns in the fall.

"I've kept it no secret that I really miss my husband," She told AOL TV, explaining her reason for the departure. "He'll have been on tour for 18 months by the time it's over. I've spent a lot of time away from him. He gets a break at the end of September and so I've asked [the show] for a little break so I can be with him.'

Osbourne offers no credence to the report of on-set tension between co-hosts as her reason for leaving the show, explaining, "I'm very close to the women on the show," and she insists that she will continue to be involved with "The Talk" in the future. "I don't want to give [it] up. It's a great, great show. We've all worked really hard over the last year. I'm not going to walk away from that. I just need some real good quality time to be with my hubby."
