Alex Trebek Burglar Pleads Not Guilty

The alleged culprit accused of stealing from Alex Trebek last week in San Francisco has pleaded not guilty to felony charges of burglary and possession of stolen property, according to the San Francisco District Attorney's Office.

Lucinda Moyers, the alleged thief, gave her not guilty plea in a San Francisco courtroom today. The 56-year-old woman's bail has been set to $625,000 and she is due back in court on August 15 to set a preliminary hearing date.

According to authorities, Moyers allegedly stole cash, jewelry and other belongings from the "Jeopardy" host's San Francisco hotel room on July 26. Trebek himself is recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon, an injury he sustained while chasing Moyers after the reported theft took place.
