Reese Witherspoon Hospitalized After Car Accident

September 07, 2011Actress Reese Witherspoon was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car this afternoon.
Santa Monica police have confirmed to ET that the actress was jogging when she was struck by a vehicle at 20th St. and Georgina Ave. The driver was an 84-year-old woman who was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
According to Reese's rep, the actress was not seriously injured and is currently resting at home.
