Alleged White House party crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi are back in the news again, this time for an absence.
The Warren County Sheriff's Office confirms to ET that Tareq called their office on Tuesday with concerns about his wife Michaele because he wasn't sure where she was.
According to a press release, Tareq was under the impression that his wife was in Northern Virginia and became alarmed when she called him from an Oregon area code. Deputy Mike Glavis followed up by contacting the The Real Housewives of D.C. star who said that she did not want her husband to be made aware of her whereabouts but assured the deputy that she was safe.
Scoop Marketing confirmed to ET that Michaele traveled to Memphis to be with Neal Schon of Journey as the band is performing tonight at the Bridgestone Arena.
Currently, the Warren County Sheriff's Office is working with the FBI to make sure that Michaele is indeed safe.
The couple gained notoriety in 2009 after reportedly gaining access to a state dinner at the White House without the proper credentials. The Salahis have denied these claims.
