Aniston Comments Misinterpreted, Says Pitt

After years of keeping mum on the uglier details of their 2005 split, Brad Pitt finally opened up to Parademagazine with, what some would call, potentially hurtful words regarding his previous marriage to Jennifer Aniston. Pitt was quick to address the mess that came soonafter.

In the interview, Pitt seemingly criticized his five-year marriage to Aniston saying he felt un-interesting and "pathetic" during that time, stating his marriage "had something to do with it."

Almost immediately as excerpts of the article began to circulate, Brad released the following statement to address what he feels is a misunderstanding of his words.

"It grieves me that this was interpreted this way. Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly. The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself – and that, I am responsible for."
