Tim Allen Talks Life After 'Home Improvement'

Tim Allen is making his triumphant return to television with the ABC series Last Man Standing, where he plays an outdoors sporting goods store marketing director whose family life is dominated entirely by women -- his wife and three daughters.

"What I'd like to do is turn Home Improvement inside out," Allen tells ET's Samantha Harris about the concept of his new show. "I'd like to have older girls instead of the three boys. I want three girls, another dynamic, strong, sexy wife, and then instead of 'Tool Time', I'd like to investigate the world of hunting, fishing, survival ... because I love all that stuff too."

And what's the biggest difference between having three grown daughters on the show (one a single mother), instead of three young sons?

"It tends to get more sexual," he says. "That's naturally what they talk about, relationships and emotions ... "
