ET special legal correspondent Robin Sax has just the prescription to help rid Lindsay Lohan of her drug and alcohol addled issues -- a stint in the morgue.
Robin tells us that Lindsay performing community service in the L.A. County Morgue is an effective way of putting the former child star back on the straight and narrow path, as she'll be forced to witness what can happen when driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Performing community service at the morgue is also the only way for Lindsay to mitigate any violation or future sentence.
Lindsay was taken into custody
Wednesday morning during a hearing in Los Angeles. The actress was later released after posting a $100,000 bail.
