"I want people to understand that this is a very funny book," Martha told Gina on In the Mixx, seemingly unshaken by the comments made about her. Martha explained that she believes the book to be satirical.

"I laughed through the whole book," said Martha.

Martha also has a new book, Martha's Entertaining: A Year of Celebrations, which hits stores tomorrow. Whateverland is available now.
