ET Remembers Our Troops Abroad

ET took the opportunity to serve those that serve us on Sunday. Mark Steines and Nancy O'Dell rubbed elbows alongside President of CBS Television Distribution John Nogawski, ET executive producer Linda Bell Blue, ET senior broadcast producer Linda Fuller and more while stuffing gift boxes to send to U.S. soldiers stationed abroad.

"It feels really good that we can do something and send them a care package to let them know that they haven't been forgotten," said Nancy O'Dell at the Van Nuys Armory in Southern California's San Fernando Valley.

Seven hundred fifty thousand boxes will be sent out to our men and women in uniform through the Operation Gratitude event, and the mission became personal for some of those involved.

"I think of my son, who is not serving but has buddies who are, and what this will mean to them," said Linda Fuller. "And to see all these people who are thinking about them -- it's a great, great feeling."

"Operation Gratitude is very important," said Linda Bell Blue, who went on to encourage others to join in on the giving trend, saying, "I want to challenge other show productions to come out here later in the month and help pack these hundreds of thousands of boxes."
