Joel Osteen and Mark Burnett Team Up for TV Series

Uber Pastor Joel Osteen and uber producer Mark Burnett are teaming up to create a television series and/or multiple television specials in the near future.

Osteen tells ET: "[My wife] Victoria and I are looking forward to working with Mark Burnett on this project. We have great respect for Mark and we know that the finished product will not only entertain but will illustrate the generosity and selflessness that is a hallmark of the American people."

The partnership is potentially a profitable one, due in part to the Emmy Award winning producer's long list of successes with reality shows. Osteen himself leads the largest church in America -- the 45,000 member Lakewood Church in Houston -- and has been referred to as the most influential Christian leader in the world by many publications.
