ET Flashback '97: Demi Moore

Demi played Jordan O'Neill, a female Senator who enrolls into the Navy SEALS training programs overcoming obstacles and doubts from many who expected her to fail. She spoke with ET in regards to her preparing for the role, her grueling training regiment with real Navy SEALS, and even learning to do one armed push ups and enjoying every moment of it. One thing that stood out in Demi's experience is the psychological warfare that took place on the training grounds.

"It's not about the physical," Demi explained. "The men who have to measure to up to even being able to be a trainee, the physical is somewhat of a given. The interesting part is watching how much the mental and one's own mental strength, tenacity and determination is what actually is the deciding factor."
