One year ago, Demi Lovato was not in a good place emotionally, so she did the smart think and sought help at the Timberline Knolls treatment center in Illinois.
Now, the singer/actress is happier and healthier than ever, so in an attempt to "pay it forward," she returned to Timberline Knolls on Sunday and spoke to the patients there.
"Wow what an inspiring day," she Tweeted moments ago. "Many tears were shed and many memories were brought back at Timberline Knolls today."
"Today I went back to the treatment center I went to last year, to speak to the beautiful women fighting their inner demons ... was so honored ... To be able to share my story and let them know that it gets easier. Life is beautiful.... You are worthy of it."
Lovato ended her message with, "Please say a prayer for all of those struggling with eating disorders, self harm, mood disorders, and substance abuse."
