Prince Phillip Released From Hospital

Following a four-night stay, Queen Elizabeth's husband Prince Phillip has been released from a Cambridge hospital following emergency heart surgery.

After complaining of chest pains on Friday, the 90-yr-old Duke of Edinburgh underwent a minimally invasive procedure for a blocked coronary artery over the holiday weekend and was kept in hospital as a precaution.

Although the 90-yr-old Prince missed his annual Christmas activities, Princes William and brother Harry visited their grandfather on Christmas Day, along with Sarah Ferguson's daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.

According to a Buckingham Palace spokesperson, Phillip is en route to rejoin the Queen and other members of the royal family at Sandringham Estate, their country retreat.
