Some of this week's top stories in the entertainment world include Nick Cannon's being hospitalized for kidney failure, an update on Ted Williams a.k.a. The Man With The Golden Voice, Samantha Harris' exit from ET, Brandi Glanville's marriage and subsequent annulment and Lindsay Lohan's citizen's arrest.

Just a few days ago, Nick Cannon was transferred from Aspen to a Los Angeles hospital to recover from mild kidney failure, according to his wife Mariah Carey. The couple was vacationing in Aspen when Nick fell ill, but the actor/musician thanked his fans for the support. "Currently being transferred to a hospital in LA," Cannon tweeted. "Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern. You know me... I will be a'ight."

A year ago, Ted Williams shot to overnight fame thanks to a YouTube video highlighting his "golden voice." Since then, he has faced his old addiction issues which prompted him to seek help in rehab. Now, he's back on track, becoming the voice of New England Cable News (NECN), with the help of his healthy support system which includes his girlfriend and sober living coach.

On Thursday, ET said goodbye to correspondent Samantha Harris after two years of outstanding service. ET's Executive Producer Linda Bell Blue said, "We've had wonderful adventures with Samantha -- from news stories in our studio to celebrity interviews around the globe. We've loved having her as part of the ET and The Insider family. With great respect, we wish her well on all of her future projects."

Tuesday, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville tweeted about her shotgun wedding in Las Vegas over the weekend with mixed martial arts manager Darin Harvey and even tweeted the news to her fans. The following day, reality hit the reality star as she took to Twitter to respond to criticism after stating the marriage was for fun and they may annul the nuptials. "I didn't mean to offend anyone! During New Year's weekend, Lindsay Lohan found herself on the right side of the law as the embattled actress was involved in a citizen's arrest after catching a man trespassing on her property in Venice, CA on New Year's Day.
