The Bachelor's Crying Jenna: 'I Self-Destructed'

ET sat down with ousted Bachelor contestant Jenna Burke, who made one of the most emotional exits in the history of the ABC show earlier this week. In the candid interview, the New York blogger revealed what she learned about her dramatic time on the show, the difficulty of watching herself melt down on national television and whether or not she is currently single.

In the interview, the brunette beauty also divulged that prior to going on the reality show she had just recently come out of "very bad break-up," which affected her emotional state while on the show. When asked about her tearful exit, Jenna explained, "I wasn't crying over Ben. I was crying over the experience. I feel like I really wanted more time with him and my emotions got the best of me. I really wanted to go further in this experience, but there [were] a lot of uncertainties in my life at that time."

When asked if she thought she was happy with her emotional portrayal on The Bachelor, Jenna said, "I'm fine with people seeing that I was struggling. That's real life. I'm a human. My emotions and nerves got the best of me. It was hard to watch."

Despite the national meltdown, Jenna remains positive about her time on The Bachelor. "I really had a great experience, I made great relationships with a lot of the girls and learned a lot about myself. I learned a lot about relationships. I learned life is about timing. And my timing wasn't there."

Catch up with Ben Flajnik and the rest of the women vying for the final rose, Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
