Earlier today, Cannon tweeted a photo of him and Carey while they were in Washington D.C. to visit the recently unveiled memorial dedicated to the civil rights activist.

"My wife and I @MariahCarey had the honor to visit the DR. KING monument for the holiday," Cannon tweeted.

The couple was in the nation's capital over the weekend for the BET Honors award show.
