A doctor discovered a lump in Anna’s right breast, and subsequently the 48-year-old had a mammogram and a biopsy. In February 2010, she discovered she had "invasive breast cancer."

In the interview, Anna admits that losing her hair after her four rounds of chemotherapy was very difficult, saying, "I'm already shy and the last thing I wanted to do was walk around bald."

She also divulged that as a mother to four children, she also found it difficult to prioritize herself. "I take on everybody's stress, but this had to be all about me," she says. "I'm not like that!"

The duo also reported since learning that Anna has made a full recovery, they are now focusing on helping others.

"We dodged a bullet," says Ray. "Now we want to give back."

Romano stars with Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula in Men of Certain Age on TNT.
