Nick Cannon Hospitalized with Lung Blood Clots

It was widely publicized that Nick Cannon was hospitalized over the holidays due to kidney problems, and now the America's Got Talent host/father of twins/hubby of Mariah Carey reports that he just went back in the hospital for another serious issue.

"I was having a lot of pain in my back," Nick reported to his fans on his 92.3 NOW Rollin' morning show, explaining that he had been in the hospital since last Friday getting "tons of tests" and discovered that he had two blood clots in his lungs. "I also had an enlarged ventricle in my heart."

Nick said that his immune system is attacking his organs and credited his extensive traveling and flying as being the possible culprit of the blood clots.

"That, on top of my previous condition, actually made me more prone to this," he said. "If it isn't one thing, it's another."

Luckily, Nick seems to be doing okay and in good spirits given the circumstances: "We're taking it one day at a time."
