Lamar Odom Reassigned to Texas Legends

Today the Dallas Mavericks have recalled Lamar Odom from the NBA Development League. The former Los Angeles Laker is expected to suit up for the Mavs when they play the Utah Jazz on Saturday.

It's been a rough couple of weeks for Khloe Kardashian's hubby, Lamar Odom. Just two weeks ago, the Dallas Mavericks forward reportedly took some personal time to attend to his ill father, and early this afternoon it was announced that Odom is being reassigned to a spot on the team's NBA D-League affiliate, the Texas Legends until further notice.

Odom was expected to report back to the Mavs last Monday, but he didn't arrive in Dallas until midweek, prompting Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and Lamar's agent to transfer Lamar to the team's D-League affiliate, says ESPN.com.

There is no word yet as to if and when Lamar will return to his home team. He will play his first game with the Legends on Saturday against the Austin Toros in Frisco, TX at the Dr. Pepper Arena.

Lamar and Khloe have resided in Dallas, Texas since mid-December, following his unexpected trade from the Los Angeles Lakers.
