James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly welcomed a son on Tuesday, which the proud papa announced via Twitter.

"Had my first son this morning ... well, actually, my wife had him. I just caught him. Wow. Heart expanding way faster than my brain," wrote James, 35. "If you could bottle up and distribute this feeling, I swear there'd be no more war."
This is the couple's second child, their first being daughter Olivia, 17 months.
