Congratulations are in order for Jimmy Kimmel -- the popular late night host was just named as the host of this year's Primetime Emmy Awards.

Though he has hosted the American Music Awards and the ESPN Awards, this will mark his first time hosting the Emmys. He will also host next month's White House Correspondents Dinner.
