Amanda Bynes Hits Police Car, Arrested for DUI
"She was not drunk," Rick tells People. "I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn't have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn't drink."
According to a police report, the 26-year-old former Nickelodeon star "allegedly collided with the right rear quarter panel" of a marked police car at 3:00 a.m. Friday morning, and was subsequently arrested for DUI.
Rick tells the news source that he believes the cop was at fault in the accident for "pulling out in front of [Amanda] as she was turning at the West Hollywood intersection where she was cited."
According to Rick, the only thing Amanda was guilty of was being "upset and very emotional."
"She is a good girl," says Rick. "She just chooses not to work, and because of that, people go after her."
