Talk show host Ricki Lake eloped over the weekend, marrying fiancé Christian Evans during a secret ceremony in Southern California. 

People magazine reports the wedding happened on Sunday and quotes Lake as calling it "a beautiful moment I will never forget." She added that she didn't feel anxious or nervous, but was relaxed and very excited on the big day.

Lake confirmed the news on Twitter and also posted a photo in her wedding dress. "Yup. This is me.... Sadie Sadie married lady. :) :) Love is in the air," she tweeted on Tuesday.

Lake, 43, split from her first husband, Rob Sussman, in 2003 and tells People she wasn't really expecting to find love until she met Evans, 40. "I didn't think it would happen at this point in my life. We just clicked. It just feels like he was the right one all along." Lake has two sons, Milo, 15, and Owen, 10, with Sussman.
