Tony Romo & Candice Crawford: It's a Boy!

On Monday, Tony Romo and Candice Crawford became proud parents to a bouncing baby boy!

Teammates of the Dallas Cowboys quarterback revealed the birth in a posting to their collective Twitter page on Tuesday afternoon.

"Congratulations to Tony Romo, proud papa of Hawkins Crawford Romo, born yesterday at 5:30pm. 8 lbs 8 oz," the message read.

The football player's famous brother-in-law, Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford, was present for the birth and tells UsWeekly that his sibling is "over-the-moon excited" about the new edition, adding "He's just such a wonderful person…he was born ready to have a family, you know what I mean? So it makes perfect sense."

Romo and Crawford wed in May 2011, just months before announcing the pregnancy in October.
