Entertainer and radio personality Rick Dees crossed paths with the late Dick Clark many times throughout his career. He took a moment to talk to ET at Dick Clark's Hollywood star and share his favorite memories with Clark.
"He was my older brother, mentor--everything you could imagine," Dees said, then recounting a story in which Clark found him a job after he had been fired from a radio job. "It's like losing your brother," he added.
Dees, who currently hosts a radio show in Los Angeles, revealed that he was temporarily caught in disbelief when he came across the saddening news. "I knew that Dick had had a stroke but this is a shock," he said.
Dees also recounted a story that showed Clark's comical side, which you can hear in the video above. Dick Clark passed away on Wednesday at 82 years old after suffering a heart attack.
