Although everyone was geared up at the EIF Women's Cancer Research Fund for an evening dedicated to a good cause, which even featured a musical performance from Rihanna, the stars were saddened as they learned of the passing of Dick Clark.
"It's really sad," said Revenge star Amber Valletta. "Losing Dick Clark feels...like an end of something...like my childhood. I grew up watching Dick Clark. Valletta was at the event supporting her friend who started the event as well as in memory of her aunt who had recently passed away.
Full House star Lori Loughlin, who was hearing the news for the first time, shared her warm thoughts about Clark. "He was lovely man. Just very gracious and talented and obviously an icon in the business," she said. "It's sad. It's always sad when someone leaves us."
