One would assume that Justin Bieber has seen his fair share of fan pandemonium, but earlier this week the pop star received the fright of his life when his Mercedes was mobbed by thousands of unruly fans in London, with one in particular halting the Biebs convoy completely as she splayed herself atop the roof of his vehicle.
"Basically she jumped on the car and, like, we couldn't move," recalls Bieber of the incident which made international news 24 hours prior.
In fact, the fan was so emotional she led Bieber to tweet about it. "This girl sat on the hood of my car today in London," he wrote. "She was like 'he isn't going anywhere.'"
Thankfully this story has a happy ending! Both Justin and the young Belieber escaped the incident safetly and the star as able to board his flight on time.
We caught up with Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun this morning as they received the Tribeca Film Festival's "Disruptive Innovation Award" and Braun tells us that despite the minor fright, the unruly incident just really goes to show how much Bieber's fans still care for the superstar despite his laying low for a couple of months to record his new album.
"Just to know we still got it," Braun adds, "that the fans are still there, [it] meant a lot to him."
