Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill are preparing for the arrival of their baby via a surrogate in late summer, but Giuliana says one thing that worries her is the possibility that she could drop the child.
The E! News anchor and Fashion Police co-host tells People magazine that like most first-time mothers, still feels nervous when holding a baby. "It's terrible! When I hold a baby, I'm very awkward. Everyone always tells me to relax my shoulders and I get so scared. I don't want to drop the baby!”
Giuliana, 37 -- speaking to the magazine during E!'s 2012 Upfront Event -- revealed her joyful anticipation at the new arrival and said she's very comfortable with the baby's gestational carrier. "If I was her going into an interview with a couple, I would try to be little miss perfect. But she was so honest," she said.
The couple recently announced that after years of trying to have a child on their own, they were finally expecting a baby via a surrogate donor. Giuliana completed a successful double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery last December after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
