Pamela Anderson Just a Down Home Girl

As a model and an actress, Pamela Anderson has achieved major success in the United States but she hasn't forgotten her Canadian roots.
ET Canada caught up with Anderson, 44, on the set of the upcoming comedy, Jackhammer, which filmed in her hometown of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

"Any chance to be home, I wanna be home," said Pamela, explaining why she agreed to play a cameo as a "stripper groupie" in the movie. "And my kids are here, too, so it's great."
When asked if she would encourage her kids to go into show business, Pamela replied, "I don't think they're very interested."
After more than 20 years in the business, Anderson still seems interested in seeing her name in lights, as she's gearing up to play Roxie Hart in a stage production of Chicago.
