Country superstar Carrie Underwood is happily married to Canadian NHL player Mike Fisher, so it's only right that she stopped by the ET Canada studio while she was in town to dish on some family matters.

First comes love, then comes marriage, and now Carrie has her eyes set on that baby carriage.

"If I had it my way, we'd have a couple kids in a few years," said Carrie. "And maybe once they get a little bit older, as a family, we adopt a couple more."

Carrie explained why she feels so strongly about adopting children, saying, "Opening your home to lives that need it is the most wonderful thing, I think, anybody could do."
