At the premiere of the History Channel's Hatfields & McCoys, Kevin Costner, who has been a big supporter of the late Whitney Houston and gave a eulogy at her funeral, reacted to her daughter Bobbi Kristina's emotional acceptance of the Millennium Award on behalf of her mother at the Billboard Music Awards.

"That's a hard song for me to listen to anymore also so I kind of just walked out of the room, but...I was glad that she was out in public," he said. The song Costner was referencing was most likely Houston's most iconic song, "I Will Always Love You," which was performed by Jordin Sparks at the awards show.
Costner, who revealed that he was the first actor to sign-on to the miniseries (about a legendary American family feud), expressed a general affection for history. "I'm thrilled with history," he said. "I enjoy reading about it and the good and bad of how this country came to be."

The 57-year-old revealed that he also enjoyed dressing up in the costume that he wore for the miniseries, which takes place in the mid-1800s. "I've never been a Halloween guy but I love this [costume]," he said. "I love the guns; I love the beard; and I love the hat."
